Fundraising through your online shopping with School Angel

One of the easiest ways money can be raised for our school is by online shopping through School Angel.

Wallands has teamed up with a charity called School Angel which will help our school to raise money.  School Angel works with lots of big shopping brands in the UK  which have agreed to donate a portion of the profit they normally make on your shopping if we use the School Angel website to visit their shop.  You are guaranteed to only pay exactly the same price, for whatever you buy, but our school will also receive a donation.

School Angel is really easy to use and our school has its own charity page which you can visit at https://www.schoolangel.org.uk/wallands-community-primary-school.html or click the logo.
Once on this page, click on the logo of the retailer you want to visit and do your shopping. And that’s it! The best thing is that there is no need to log in. Get shopping now!

FoW Chair – Hannah Sheridan-Olliver

I have three children. Two at Wallands, Reggie in Year 3 and Scarlett in Year 1. My oldest daughter is currently in her 2nd year studying A-levels.

I divide my time between being mum to my 3 darlings, working at American Express and volunteering for Sussex Police.

This is my first year as Chair and I’m so excited about the year ahead and everything it involves.

FoW Vice-Chair – Sien Bassett
I have two children, Albie in Year 2 and Violet in Reception. I work in a building society in Lewes but you can find me in the playground at pick up.

This is my second year as Vice-Chair and I am looking forward to another year of exciting events and fundraising, and of course meeting even more of you lovely Wallands parents and carers.

FoW Secretary – Holly Lampard
I have two children, Rocky, who is currently in Year 5, and Ruby, who is currently in Year 2.

Having previously been Chair I really enjoyed being a part of  FoW and everything it stands for.

I’m very excited about getting stuck in and getting more involved in another area and of course, organising the fun events for the kids and helping to raise funds for our lovely school!

FoW Treasurer – Aziz Tarafder
I have three children at Wallands, Isaac and Theo in year 5 and Soraya who is in Year 1.

I work in data analysis for an insurance broker in Bexhill and you can usually find me weighed down with a couple of violins dropping off the kids.

Having attended some fantastic FoW events over the last couple of years I’m looking forward to making this year’s events even more successful.

FoW Fundraising – Becky Trotman
I’m a parent of 3 children at Wallands School (Year 4, Year 1 and Nursery).

My career before children was in Retail Operations and Marketing, most recently digital marketing for More Th>n.I now have a part time administration role which I fit in around the school runs and multitude of afternoon/evening clubs!

I’m really excited to be taking up the new role, and developing it to its full potential.

FoW Request Co-ordinator – Lucy-May Tarafder
I am mum to Theo & Isaac (Year 5) and Soraya (Year 1).

I work in Lewes as a lawyer and as I am very good at spending money (according to my husband).  I will take these same skills to my role as request co-ordinator for FoW, liaising with staff, children and parents to enable us funds to release the funds raised by the FoW initiatives.
